1-Day Tokyo DisneySea Ride Itinerary

With so many rides and attractions to discover at Tokyo DisneySea, fitting everything into one day can be difficult.

This suggested itinerary aims to fit as much as possible into a single day, prioritising the top Tokyo DisneySea rides whilst keeping wait times minimal. Please note this is an attraction guide only, remember to allow time in the day for food & refreshments, shopping, meeting characters and – most importantly – soaking up the atmosphere! Be sure to note your fastpass return times and include them in your schedule. To read more about the attractions mentioned, check out my Best Tokyo DisneySea Rides post.

Getting a FastPass for Toy Story Mania as soon as you enter the park is essential.

Morning

  • Line up as early as possible; at least an 90mins before opening is best, but minimum 30mins.

  • Rush straight to Toy Story Mania in American Waterfront and get a fastpass OR go to Mysterious Island and get a fastpass for Journey to the Centre of the Earth.

  • Next on our Tokyo DisneySea Itinerary is the lottery for Big Band Beat on the way to Mysterious Island, then get in the standby line for Journey to the Centre of the Earth.

  • Do 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea if the standby line is around 15mins or less, otherwise come back later in the evening when the line is short.

  • Head over to Lost River Delta and use the single rider line for Indiana Jones Adventure.

  • Get in the single rider line for Raging Spirits, or the standby line if it’s very short.

Caravan Carousel in Arabian Coast

Afternoon

  • At this point in our Tokyo DisneySea Itinerary, you should be able to obtain your next fastpass. Check your current fastpass ticket to confirm and if so, get one for Nemo & Friends SeaRider in Port Discovery OR Tower of Terror in American Waterfront.

  • Ride Aquatopia if the line isn’t long, otherwise come back at night for shorter lines, when it’s all lit up!

  • Keep an eye on the events schedule that came with your map, there should be an afternoon show on Mediterranean Habour about now.

  • After the show, head to Mermaid Lagoon to watch King Triton’s Concert.

  • Make your way to Arabian Coast and ride the Caravan Carousel. Keep an eye out for Jasmine, Aladdin, Genie, or Abu!

  • Ride Sinbad’s Storybook Voyage, it’s awesome and never has a long line. Stop for a guilt free Chandu Tail snack afterward at Sultan’s Oasis.

Mediterranean Harbour at night

Evening

  • Try to get on the Venetian Gondolas in Mediterranean Harbour at sunset, depending on the line.

  • Go on 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea if you didn’t earlier, as the lines will be shorter now.

  • Try Journey to the Centre of the Earth again around this time if the line isn’t too bad, or if you can get another fastpass; the view from the ride at sunset/dusk/night is stunning.

  • Once it’s properly dark outside, go on Aquatopia.

  • See Fantasmic! The massive night show on Mediterranean Harbour. It’s a water version of the Electrical Parade Dreamlights at Disneyland.

  • Top off the night, and end your 1-Day Tokyo Disneysea itinerary, with any more rides you feel like. I suggest Indiana Jones Adventure (in single rider) or Sinbad’s Storybook Voyage.
